Hawa is a 2022 Bangladeshi mystery-drama film directed by Mejbaur Rahman Sumon. Set against the vast and unforgiving backdrop of the sea, the story follows a group of fishermen led by Chan Majhi (portrayed by Chanchal Chowdhury). During a regular deep-sea fishing trip, the crew unexpectedly finds a mysterious young woman trapped in their fishing net.
Her sudden and unexplained appearance disrupts the unity and routine of the boat crew, gradually unraveling hidden desires, paranoia, and psychological tension. What follows is a surreal and symbolic journey into the depths of the human mind, power dynamics, and superstition.
